Your Job

You provide financial leadership within the EMEA/AP FIS IT organization ● You manage billing, management reporting and budget processes for EMEA/AP regions ● You perform analyses and forecasts ● You are the finance lead on key FIS IT Global initiatives and serve as financial consultant to FIS EMEA/AP IT Management & Business Relationships Managers’ organization ● You are the key resource in helping FIS IT management understand budget implications of FIS Platform growth strategies and Tartan deployments in EMEA and AP ● You report to the Global Finance Manager.

Major Tasks:
  • Manage GAAP and statutory financial reporting, budgeting and management reporting for FIS IT requirements, including tax compliant recovery and allocation model, etc.  Requires coordination with Business Unit (BU) controllers in collecting and analyzing embedded IT cost information.
  • Finance leader on specific FIS IT Global initiatives: FIS Global Portfolio, Assets on the Ground, ARIS Financials.  Requires coordinating Business Relationship Managers (BRM), application owners, project managers, and ITSB finance and analyzing results to ensure accuracy and derive potential actions.
  • Serve as financial consultant to FIS IT management, Project Managers, BRM’s and BU controllers on operational matters: commitments, staffing, project and demand planning, financial implications of organization structure/allocation, IT budget implications of BU growth strategies, esp. acquisitions.  Requires a thorough understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices and specific Cargill processes.
  • Provide financial analysis and/or process development for special projects and ad-hoc requests as directed by Finance Manager, Regional IT Lead, and Platform Controller and in support of Tartan/IT Finance.

You will be travelling globally 10-20% of your working time.

Desired Skills & Experience

Your Profile
  • University Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4 years plus of accounting experience with multiple levels
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and improve processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to coordinate efforts across teams and businesses to accomplish goals
  • Business fluency in English
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and working knowledge of accounting principles and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated financial analysis capability
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with many functional groups and levels
