The role: Industry Manager, Mobile Advertising, Benelux
As Industry Manager for Mobile, you will be responsible for helping to drive Search and Display Mobile Advertising revenues across BENELUX. This is a challenging role, requiring persistent and persuasive interaction with clients and agencies, strong digital marketing expertise, proven sales skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal local country sales teams across the region, strong communication skills and a broad base of mobile industry contacts.

This role entails getting involved in the detail of how clients can get the most from Google & AdMob mobile advertising formats – through the development, implementation, testing and sharing of account & campaign strategies and approaches. Some of this will be through working on accounts directly, developing account plans and driving revenue growth, some will be through developing the capabilities of other sales colleagues to do this, and working through them to develop ever more successful and sophisticated sales approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop strong relationships amongst all senior influencers within target agencies and clients, particularly within the planning departments.

  • Prepare and conduct strategic pitches providing tailored solutions across Google’s mobile advertising platforms and drive quota forecasting and achievement.

  • Evangelize Google's mobile products within the advertising agency community.

  • Take responsibility for helping the vertical teams to develop their mobile business and accomplish their goals, collaborating with pod leaders and coaching and supporting mobile champions.

  • Drive mobile advertising marketing and evangelization efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree. In lieu of a university degree, relevant skills or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong online and mobile sales and business-development experience.

  • Substantial experience in advertising sales/marketing or management consulting experience in media and telecom sectors.

  • Established relationships and presence within the mobile marketplace.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Fluency in English and Dutch. Other European languages a plus.
