Job Description
Function Description:
Covers activities associated with the ordering, supply, delivery and of materials and finished goods. Includes volume and demand planning, master scheduling, buyer analyses, order management, production scheduling, marketing logistics, customer fulfilment and inventory management. Also covers international distribution, logistics and customer liaison for shipment of completed product to end customers.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiates contracts that secure favourable terms in relation to the procurement of services and/or goods in support of business processes or internally
- Involves the sourcing of services for the organisation and its employees (e.g., company cars, private health insurance, etc.) or the sourcing of critical goods for the manufacturing of our products and the negotiation of contracts with 3rd party suppliers
- Understands and addresses all key elements within a source plan strategy
- Creates source plan for defined sourcing groups
- Conducts detailed Risk & Vulnerability analysis of agreed sourcing plans
- Drives implementation of source plans and delivers plans benefits
- Ensures compliance to internal policies and all legal requirements
- Understands and advocates use of Procurement tools and processes
- Applies Suppliers Relationship Management activities to sourcing group and participates in the implementation of action plans with suppliers to improve suppliers’ performance
- Understands OE tools and techniques within the function or with suppliers and identify areas for possible application
- Plans and negotiates contracts with suppliers, utilizing legal support and ensure critical issues are incorporated into contract
- Champions the SGM process so it is understood and accepted by the key customers and stake holders, and is able to communicate to gain approval
- Management of Suppliers Relationships
- Negotiation of more complex/critical contracts with suppliers
- Development of performance improvement actions for suppliers
- Really involved in the definition of the source plan strategy
- Conducts Risk & Vulnerability analysis
- Responsible for compliance

Desired Skills & Experience
Profile:
- Master Level degree (engineering , sciences , business)
- Fluent in French & English
- At least 5-8 years experience (specific experience of sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation , supplier performance review, supplier development is required).
- Experience in people management
- Experience in project/change management
- Experience in a multicultural & international environment
- Fluent in French & English
