Roles and Responsibilities:

Are you a seasoned IT Infrastructure, Telecoms or Network project manager? Do you have Prince 2 and/or PMP knowledge &/or certification plus detailed knowledge of IT security or network project management? Bring your talents to Verizon Business and you’ll have a unique opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects for high-profile names in sectors ranging from retail to insurance.

You can expect to take end-to-end responsibility for project development. So you’ll play a lead role at the strategic planning phase, setting milestones and the success criteria for projects, oversee the deployment and acquisition of resources, and manage day-to-day operations including progress reports and presentations. Key will be your ability to manage changes in project scope, coach and mentor your team members and build business relationships that impact on project delivery.

We’re looking for proven people management skills, the ability to conduct research into project-related issues and products, along with the intellect to grasp new technologies. With exceptional influencing and motivational skills combined with political sensitivity, you should be able to foster a collaborative working environment and respond quickly to shifting priorities.
